4.1.0, 4.0.2 and 3.4.5 work with all -O0 -O1 -O2 -O3.
gcc (GCC) 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux) and gcc 3.3.6 abort with -O1.

I guess this is RESOLVED FIXED as far as gcc bugzilla is concerned?
