This effects more than Darwin, this also effects HPUX, openbsd, and cygwin.
./pa/pa64-hpux.h:#define GTHREAD_USE_WEAK 0
./pa/som.h:#define GTHREAD_USE_WEAK 0
./darwin.h:#define GTHREAD_USE_WEAK 0
./openbsd.h:#define GTHREAD_USE_WEAK 0
