This now pr37241. With the patch in comment #54 all the failures reported in comment #40 are gone without regressions (currently regtesting gfortran). Thanks for the patch(es). Just in case, I am bootstraping gcc on ppc darwin9 with the patch. It should finish tonight (GMT+2) and regtesting results available tomorrow morning.
