This is for the inner loop vectorization. For the outer loop we get: tmp.f90:11: note: not vectorized: control flow in loop. because of the if's. Maybe loop unswitching can help us. Vectorizable outer-loops look like this: (pre-header) | header <---+ | | inner-loop | | | tail ------+ | (exit-bb) Does ifort vectorize the exact same implemantion of minloc?
