------- Comment #18 from debian-gcc at lists dot debian dot org 2010-02-04 18:39 ------- this is a check run by the lintian tool to check .deb packages after they are built. for this check, lintian calls 'man --warnings -E UTF-8 -l <file>' for every generated manpage. Afaik Debian/Ubuntu do use another man implementation than Fedora, so I don't know if this option is available there as well.
