Yes, but -fwhole-file does not enable -fwhole-program. All the polyhedron tests pass with -fwhole-file (and say -O3 -ffast-math), but the test in comment #4 fails with -whole-file. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=40873
