The issue here is nt __attribute__ ((target("arch=corei7"))) foo (); vs int __attribute__ ((target("arch=corei7,popcnt"))) foo (); not int __attribute__ ((target("arch=corei7"))) foo (); vs int __attribute__ ((target("popcnt"))) foo (); What bug does your patch try to fix?
