Bug ID: 66746 Summary: Failure to compile #include <x86intrin.h> with -miamcu Product: gcc Version: 6.0 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: target Assignee: unassigned at gcc dot gnu.org Reporter: thiago at kde dot org Target Milestone: --- Source code: #include <x86intrin.h> Compiling with: gcc -m32 -miamcu -c test.c Produces a couple thousand errors, starting with: /home/thiago/obj/gcc/gcc/include/ia32intrin.h:54:28: sorry, unimplemented: SSE isn’t supported in Intel MCU psABI #pragma GCC target("sse4.2") ^ /home/thiago/obj/gcc/gcc/include/ia32intrin.h:61:46: sorry, unimplemented: SSE isn’t supported in Intel MCU psABI __crc32b (unsigned int __C, unsigned char __V) ^ I don't want to use SSE, but x86intrin.h has useful intrinsics for instructions from as early as the 8086 (like __ror[bwd]). This header should compile.
