For some reason, gcc.dg/debug/pr41893-1.c succeeds on Solaris 10 (both SPARC and x86), while it FAILs on both Solaris 11.3 (the latest release) and 11.4 (the current beta) with as/ld, gas/ld. gas/gld succeeds (not unexpectedly).
