--- Comment #17 from Martin Sebor <msebor at gcc dot gnu.org> --- r274996 finally correctly disabled -Wstringop-overflow (and other language-specific middle-end warnings) for Fortran (and other languages they're not meant for) so that might explain why the fails have disappeared. The bug should stay open until the questions about the correctness of the Fotran-emitted code have been settled.
