The problem is in gimple.c:
      return (operation_could_trap_p (op, FLOAT_TYPE_P (t),
                                      (INTEGRAL_TYPE_P (t)
                                       && TYPE_OVERFLOW_TRAPS (t)),
                                      div));


We only check for scalar integer types ...
