That was what I expected as noted on IRC.
I will not make this a dup - as it's a different manifestation (of the same
issue).

OK let's not worry about that then - 116506 has a test case too (and I think to
make one that covers this more generally).
I have a fix in progress (v1 was review and needed rework).
