Repeating:

In order to demonstrate a bug in **GCC** it needs to be repeatable outside of
the macports build system (which includes potential mis-handling of configure
options).

The compiler build does not need anything special from the host - except a
sufficiently modern host compiler (so that the minimum C++ revision is
supported).

until there is something that we can reproduce independently there is little
that can be done.

I am marking this bug as "waiting" == waiting for a reproducer that we can
action.
