I recall that some STMT_VINFO_RELEVANT_P checks have a ||
STMT_VINFO_DEF_TYPE () == vect_reduction_def
or VECTORIZABLE_CYCLE_DEF (STMT_VINFO_DEF_TYPE ()).  Maybe that is missing here.
