I'll leave it to the OP to decide whether this aspect is or isn't relevant. IME, it's at least useful information, since distributing precompiled MinGW programs without these DLLs makes things very awkward. But if it turns out this is not relevant to the OP, I apologize for taking everyone's time and attention.
