git pull -> HTTP error 429 (too many requests)

I am getting this error when trying to access the gcc git repo:
gjl@cfarm121:~/gnu/source/gcc-master$ git pull
fatal: unable to access 'https://gcc.gnu.org/git/gcc.git/': The 
requested URL returned error: 429

This happens on cfarm 121, and I am getting same error for Binutils
from sourceware.
