Yes. And the answer AFAIK is "because it doesn't see a way to move a constant into a register; it understands "r", not "p" and "q". So bviyer, add an "r" alternative. See also the "*" and "#" qualifiers. No need for bogus 0 -to- memory alternatives. brgds, H-P
