Is there a reason why you top-post?  Usually for email lists
top-posting is discouraged as it makes it harder to understand which
part of the email you are replying to.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posting_style has some good information
about the different posting styles.  I think the best quote is:
"was the original Usenet standard invented and used years before the
existence of the WWW and the widespread public use of e-mail and the
Internet in general".

Really inline posting is the best way to post replies as it is like a
conversation, and you are answering the questions or asking questions
about specific parts of the email.

PS if you do a search of "top-posting" on gcc.gnu.org you will find
more people complaining about the use of top posting too.
