Questions like this should be sent to the mailing list
gcc-h...@gcc.gnu.org, not to g...@gcc.gnu.org.  Please take any followups
to gcc-help.

gcc 4.4 has not yet been released, so I can't recommend using it.  As
far as I know the current gcc 4.3 release will work fine on Red Hat
Enterprise Linux.  If you have trouble, I recommend talking to Red Hat.
