Thank you for your contribution to DejaGnu over the years and for your input on this occasion. However it does not appear to me to be right that Tcl is not maintained, as a stable 8.6.10 release has been made as recently as half a year ago. And then current development appears ongoing, ferociously indeed, with the last check in literally today (barring my time zone), as indicated here: <https://core.tcl-lang.org/tcl/timeline>. Other than that what would be the technical advantage from rewriting DejaGnu in Python (/me asking as a Python ignoramus)? Maciej
