hi list, I have made gdal 1.5.3 using the stable branch http://download.osgeo.org/gdal/daily/
After "make install", libgdal.so.1.12.3, libgdal.la, libgdal.a were generated in /local-install/lib/ However compared to my previous gdal 1.4.0, these files are missing under /local-install/lib/python2.5/site-packages/: osr.py, ogr.py, gdal.py, gdalconst.py, gdalnumeric.py, _gdalmodule.so, _gdalmodule.la, _gdalmodule.a What did I do wrong? thanks, Shawn -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Frank Warmerdam Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2008 12:41 PM To: Gong, Shawn (Contractor) Cc: gdal-dev@lists.osgeo.org Subject: Re: [gdal-dev] gdal 1.5.3 make error - HDF 4 conflicting typesfor`UNKNOWN' Gong, Shawn (Contractor) wrote: > Thank you Frank and Andrew Brooks. > > Following your leads, I went to check the ticket #2609 and the nightly > snapshot of the 1.5 branch. > > I have two questions: > 1) Is http://download.osgeo.org/gdal/daily/ always the latest update on > the last public release (currently 1.5.3)? Shawn, The trunk and stable branches are captured each night and placed in this location. So you can always grab essentially the latest code from there. > 2) I'd like to use latest Rsat2 and TerraSAR-X drivers. But you might also consider just using the trunk version from svn or the nightly snapshot. Certainly we would appreciate your trying it out before the final 1.6 release.
