it depends on if you're interested by the read side or the write side of the 
GML driver !
* For the read side, it's designed for GML2 but some GML3 support has been 
added . I see there's at least some support for the <pos> and <posList> 
elements. The best is to try and see if it supports what you're interested 
in !
* For the write side, GML2 only.
