Hello
I need to build GDAL in java.
I already followed the steps mentioned in
http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/wiki/GdalOgrInJavaBuildInstructions
I am successful till compiling GDAL but I am stuck from the
next step --Build java bindings
Please guide me how to proceed further.what are the steps I
need to follow(what all settings are required?what does this line mean
"use nmake/cl.exe to build the C++ side of the Java bindings and ANT/javac")
Do I need to set these files(gdal.jar, gdalconstjni.dll, gdaljni.dll,
ogrjni.dll and osrjni.dll.) prior to generation of java bindings or these'll
get created after I run nmake /f makefile.vc java automatically.
can anyone
please elaborate the steps
from "Build java bindings" onwards(That'll be truely helpful.
Kindly reply back soon as I am not able to move ahead.
