Thanks Jean-Claude, that works -- in QGIS i can see the border I want to crop is -110270 89629 110288 -88560 -- but I guess what I am asking is if there is any way to do this programmatically.. i.e. automatically turn the lat/lon coordinates into these values. -Dan
