I committed a change which adds WKT2 as a new option to the -geom
switch. Setting -geom=WKT2 makes ogrinfo print the geometry using WKT
according to the new specification ("POINT M (1 2 3)" etc).
WKT2 makes me rather think to the SRS WKT-2 spec (
http://docs.opengeospatial.org/is/12-063r5/12-063r5.html ). Why not ISO_WKT ?
Ops. So it seems. I was looking at some pages but they indeed talk about
new WKT for CRS.
I'm wondering if we shouldn't default to this WKT2/ISO_WKT for ogrinfo ? There
might be some incompatibility effect, but having to pass a switch to see M
values is a bit counter-intuitive.
I really have no opinion. I'd be happy to have it the default.
Where can one edit the (source) of the page

apps/ogr_utilities.dox
