Hello, I am trying to build gdal-2.2.0 from source on windows 7 64 bit using msys2 environment. gcc is 4.8.3.
This is the source I am using: http://download.osgeo.org/gdal/2.2.0/gdal-2.2.0.tar.gz The binaries produced do not have the .exe extension. But building the gdal-2.0.3 produces the binaries with the .exe extension. I am wondering if anyone else has across this issue and if so if they were able to find a resolution.
