I downloaded Google Gears to Firefox 3.0.15 on Ubuntu Release 9.04. When I restarted Firefox, I got a message that Google gears could not start because is was incompatible with the browser and to notify the developers.
That is what I am doing. I am willing to experiment if there are tests that you would like me to run. John
