Thanks Cyndy, I'll definitely try your suggestions. Now I'm not so worried,
we've become very attached to this fellow.

daily. How about a larger water dish? One way you could feed him is put a
dish of Zoophoba (the giant meal worms) in his cage. I put a straight sided
soup bowl next to a rock so that the leo can look down in it. In the bowl I
put Minerall and a carrot or piece of yam. I put 3 zoophoba per day I am
going to be gone in the bowl. My leos are thrilled with this set up, I now
do it when I am home too.

dish and the looking at me, just like my dogs do. I think she has bowl
feeding figured out.

10 months old and about 8" long. He seems very healthly and we feed him
crickets every other evening and small meal worms about once a week. He has
a healthy appetite. My problem is that we are going away on vacation for
seven days and there is no one that we know of who would take the time to go
through the feeding ritual, i.e. I usually remove one leg of each cricket
and add a vitamin supplement. Then I make sure that any crickets left in
the tank after about an hour are removed. I also replace his water dish
about every other day.

dried crickets/meal worms in his tank and see if he eats them (however, he
seems to eat only when his food is moving).
