I live in Palm Beach County, just about 30 miles south of where the eye is supposed to make landfall. Frances is right in our backyard. We've got things boarded up, but Frances has dissipated from 145mph winds to 105mph. It's barely holding hurricane status now. Oh yea, and Saturday, the day it's expected to make landfall is my 18th birthday. Great present eh? At least nobody yelled "Surprise" for this one.
