Though to be explicit, they are adaptations of the Debian packages which I prepare. It appears that the only thing added is .desktop files; unlike Ubuntu, Debian does not have a policy of adding those to every package (as we have our own historical menu system). However if .desktop files were added to the real gaf distribution I would certainly include them, and I may yet add them to Debian's packages anyway.
