        Actually I kind of like this sorta bizarre behavior/appearance.
I didn't like the old edit dialog box because when you pressed enter 
you would create a multi-line attribute.  How common are multi-line
attributes?  I would guess that they are not the norm.  I would advocate
that if the user wants to edit multi-line attributes, they should use
the Edit/Text... dialog box. 

        Patrick, if it is easy to implement the "edit multi-line attributes"
in your new dialg box, then by all means, but if it is too much pain, then
it can wait till a future release.

        The above statements are MHO, so I'm willing to be flexible on
all these issues.
