It is possible to extend the VPI for Icarus Verilog. In particular, I'm nearly finished with a draft of the newest development path (It's been a big job for a big change, which is why I've been quiet for a while) and that would be the preferred baseline for new features. The new VPI capabilities most likely to get added quickly are those that can be implemented entirely within the vvp binary. Data flow, simluation events and static objects of all sort are easy, VPI access to uncompiled behavioral source is harder. - -- Steve Williams "The woods are lovely, dark and deep. steve at icarus.com But I have promises to keep, http://www.icarus.com and lines to code before I sleep, http://www.picturel.com And lines to code before I sleep." -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCpbVvrPt1Sc2b3ikRAhF5AKCJByV8MqM8EuWQI4lnFbQnTxeNkACfabK/ 7nLpNbTDKywztyeyi6LyQYk= =T0iO -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
