        I've been reading the thread about this.  It wouldn't be hard
to add the overbars to simple text, but the tricky part will be 1) the
PS output and 2) handling all the different rotations and alignments.
This would be a fun project and I of course am always available for
questions.

        All of the symbols are quite pretty, athough I like the middle
one, even if it violates my (almost arbitrary) symbol creation rules. :)
