Don't assign a slot in the symbol file, assign a slot in the schematic with the eShift-S ("eS") command. The symbol should have slotdefs in it. > Any time I try to add a slot attribute to resistor-1.sym (mind you, > I copied You should rename the symbol if you're changing it, just in case some tool picks the wrong one. > Ideally, I would like to know if there is an easier way to do > this. If so, what are they called and how do I call them? Each capacitor has a different lead spacing, but yes, look in ~generic for footprings like [RADIAL_CAN 200]. > Lastly -- and this isn't very important -- the 5.x.x. Click on the part, hit 'm' to enter move mode, move the part. Do you mean that they're messy afterwards? If so, this is a known "anti-feature". _______________________________________________ geda-user mailing list geda-user@moria.seul.org http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-user
