IPC has adopted IPC-2581. The format is a convergence of the IPC-2511 
“GenCAM” and the Valor Computerized Systems “ODB-X” format structure. it 
is available from http://webstds.ipc.org/. it uses a flat netlist and 
seems to be oriented toward manufacturing,i.e. a gerber and drill files 
replacement. there is nothing about schematics.
