Hi ARM folks. I'm trying to work on remote GDB support, and the default version of it seems to be broken. When trying to connect locally, I get this error:
Remote 'g' packet reply is too long (expected 788 bytes, got 8468 bytes) I remember seeing some things go by talking about a gdb remote protocol mechanism where you could pass around XML files to tell GDB about new registers, and apparently this is either not working or not complete. Can someone confirm, and/or fix this? I'm working with a slightly older version of gem5 for this, but it's not that old (a few months).
