This was Wendy's DRAM patches that caused this error. Specifically
https://gem5-review.googlesource.com/c/public/gem5/+/31654 and
https://gem5-review.googlesource.com/c/public/gem5/+/28968.

This is an issue similar to above, how we've assumed there was a consistent
interface, but now there's not. The current code assumes that you will
always use a DRAM-based controller. It will have to be updated to work with
SimpleMemory.

I don't know the best solution off the top of my head. We'll have to work
this out, though.
