Hello Gabe ; That is true. I did change my disk image to use the provided by parsec benchmark folks as well as the script file to run FFT (I wrote quite simple script thought).
The simulator runs quite fine and it does exit after a fixed number of cycles regardless of what benchmark iam using (FFT,CHOLESKY,RADIX,.... etc).
