I've heard this before. Unfortunately, it doesn't really solve the backup
issue. When you mirror a drive you do it more or less for reliability and
uptime. The problem with mirroring is that you mirror the other drive. :)
That means if I delete something accidently, it gets deleted on the mirror
as well, at least eventually. Not much help if I want to restore the file.
