I _think_ with later Red Hats there is a script that can be run when the
DHCP client obtains a new
IP address. I could be mistaken, in which case, a cron job that checks
the IP for changes will do.
Either way, You can detect an IP change, and when that happens, run a
script that will change
the records on your DNS server(s) fairly easily. You can pull the IP
address out of ifconfig with
this line: ifconfig eth0 | grep 'inet' | cut -f2 -d\: | cut -f1 -d" "

I have cox cable here in abbeville, and i'm using the linux client of
dns2go, which has been working great for over 6 months now.

You can get it at http://dns2go.com
It can be used with a free domain name from dns2go
    (yourname).dns2go.com
or a name you already have registered.
