Hmmmmmmm..... Sir John, is that a hint of sterotyping I detect?!?!? I agree that a large portion of root kits are used by the younger folks, but they are still written by somebody.... usually not someone green behind the ears, or just punchin keys.

Otherwise, you're just traveling blindly..... (Don't just know you've been attacked, but know how you've been attacked....) With the servers that I run, the biggest threat (not to mention destructive), have been the root kits (and variations of them).
