I had done my version, but yours is more complete. Attatched are the two logos (group-logo and project-logo) I had done.

As an FYI, I borrowed the svg logos from the jakarta-site2 module, and modified them for commons. That is only because I are not a graphic artist :)
Actually, I committed them yesterday, and I like it too. Mine is just an alternative.
