I have a question regarding the setting of serialization options,
specifically DOCTYPE declarations, for the output of an XQuery... yes
that old chestnut!
I've noticed from previous e-mails to this list that treating the
DOCTYPE declaration as a string is a possible solution, but from the
results I have had so far ML Server 4.1 returns the document as
text/plain if you do something like this:
xquery version "1.0-ml";
'<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd";>',
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml";>
...
</html>
I've searched the developer zone, but to no avail.
I know that the provision of serialization setting is optional but is
there any other way of setting this with ML Server?
