HP agreed to the notice, it doesn't break ASF requirements, and it is only in some of the files, about a dozen. This is code that HP developed/invented in 1994 or so and it's good to remember and attribute this to HP as it is part of the foundation of the STL from the beginning. It is not going to be expanded on or updated in the future. Hope this helps.
