Hi Matthieu,It's great that you're looking at this. When I looked at the two pages below, they seemed like they missed a lot of what we needed for graduating incubating projects. It might just be that they're very old (e.g. references to bylaws and release management).
But please don't move this discussion off the incubator list. I'm not subscribed to site-dev. Could we keep it on both lists? Or are there any folks on site-dev who are not incubationistas?

Actually I'm starting to get into all this and I'm also of the opinion that it should go on the main apache site more than in the incubator (but the incubator graduation doc should of course link to it). If you check theinfra pending TLPs tasks there's actually 2 incubator projects and 2 non-incubator projects so we're not the majority :) I'm currently running through: http://www.apache.org/dev/project-creation.html http://www.apache.org/dev/project-creation-tasks.htmlAnd I think those 2 guides should be merged, adding some details here andthere (the first one also has some content that looks like the current graduation guide). So starting from those could be nice.Anyway I can help for this as I'll be taking notes along the way. Matijn did you start something? Also, shouldn't this discussion be brought to site-dev?Cheers, Matthieu On 7/18/07, Niclas Hedhman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:On Wednesday 18 July 2007 12:51, Niclas Hedhman wrote:> Each of the current top level projects below marked with a star (*) hasgone > through the "Go to TLP" I meant, gone to TLP without coming from the Incubator.
