HI Suresh, Thanks for the vote, I think we can make a few JIRAs and then target them in the next release.
For now, I am not sure of removing the .settings, .classpath, .project. We have kept this configuration in our repo. FWIW, this is an eclipse plugin and a few configurations have been packed in .classpath so that it works fine when someone imports it in eclipse.
