Hi Sheng,

Thanks for your comments.

> I want to highlight the `40 organizations to continue development` and

We changed the statement to "There are at least 100 contributors
participate in the development of ShenYu project."

> `After all, it is
> difficult to get more people to participate in the project.`

Sorry for making you confused by the statement.

The original meaning will emerge if we put these two sentences together.

"After all, it is difficult to get more people to participate in the
project.
So, in order to get more people involved, we refactored the design,
optimized and simplified the codes, make it looks very simple."

That means although it is difficult, we successfully made the project
simple and easy at last.

> As you told, many contributors counted on GitHub actually are not
volunteers,
> they are/were assigned to do something.

Sorry for the confusion again. I'd like clarify that all the contributors
are volunteers.

The words "novice task" are not clear. Maybe these word tend to be
understood as not volunteer.

It will be clear if I change them to "GitHub issues with 'good first issue'
or 'volunteer wanted' label".

We created issues and volunteers can reply if they want to participate.
They are not passively assigned tasks.

> Initial committers, Yonglun Zhang is not on the top 100 list, Jinwei
> Qin has only 3 commits(3 are some fix or doc fix)

We have make the election criterion of initial committer: continuously
contribute for the last one year, code of lines over 3000, commits over 15.

So Yonglun Zhang, Jinwei Qin and Lei Zhang will be removed from the
committers list.

> So, I only could treat this number of contributors as a number, not a

As the clarification above, they are volunteer contributors.

#4 SteNicholas Not reach the election criterion of initial committer.
#7 huangxfchn Not reach the election criterion of initial committer.
#10 Technoboy- Not reach the election criterion of initial committer.

> how could so many

During 2020-11~2020-12, we held source code sharing events. Many source
code enthusiasts are very interested and actively participate in the
discussion.

They are also very willing to participate in open source contributions, but
most of them have little experience in open source.

So, we created GitHub issues to allow volunteers to participate in the
community. And instructed them how to fork from GitHub and make a pull
request.

We cannot say that some of them will must be involved in the project in the
future. But we could expect that some of them will participate more in the
project after they are familiar with the process.

Moreover, they can continue to contribute to the entire open source
community if they are interested in the future.

These are what we want and what we do.

Finally, we are actively operating the community, and we will increase
community activity continuously. That is why our primary interest is in the
excellent community provided by Apache Software Foundation,
in which all the projects could gain stability for long-term development.
We are willing to practice the apache way and participate in it.
