Hi,

I have committed three lesson prompts to tools/ai-tutor/ in the incubator repo:
What the Incubator is, The Apache Way in practice, and Working in public. [1]

Each is a single system prompt. You paste it into any capable chat model and
talk to it, and it runs an interactive lesson: one idea at a time, exercises
with answer keys, and a final check to show you can do what the lesson set out
to teach. The knowledge base is contained within the prompt, so the model is
not relying on what it happens to remember about the ASF.

ROADMAP.md scopes twenty-six lessons across eight tracks: podling startup and
the PPMC, legal and branding, releases, mentoring, IPMC oversight, graduation,
and the Incubator's own data. SOURCES.md maps each lesson back to the guides it
draws on. Content comes from the Incubator wiki guides, which describe practice
rather than policy, so where a definitive answer was needed, the lessons follow
the policy pages.

I tested them two ways. Manually, by running each as a learner. Then, by
running the prompts against two agents that play the tutor and learner (one
with limited knowledge of the ASF) and examining that conversation for any
issues.

Review and feedback welcome. Lessons were drafted with AI assistance, naming
the tool, and the content was human-reviewed against the policy pages and
tested manually.

Note that this idea came out of the Apache Magpie project.

Thanks,
Justin
