It wasn't aimed at you (or anyone) personally -- I apologize if you took it that way. Presumably there is a good reason for the early-bird registration expiring (Sept 1 according to the site) before registration opens. It *is* funny though. Perhaps "...is quite funny" would have been better word choice =)
