I'm using NetBeans 5.5 beta on FC5 and everything was working fine untill recently, whenever I try to run a program I recieve an error: "cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied". I know I should take this to the NetBeans forums but I googled about it first and all I got was similer problems but with other applications. They say that its an SELinux problem regarding running shared libraries and suggested the use of chcon Which I'm not sure what does it do exactly.
Others suggested disabling SELinux but I'm not sure about the side effects of that.
By the way, this happened after I updated my system using Yum.
